“Neftchi
\nSports Club” is one of the organizations which have been actively involved
\nin the development of physical culture and sports in our country and
\ncontributing to this. In addition to professional sports, the club regularly
\norganizes various types of sports among workers of oil, gas and chemical
\nindustries. These events are organized for the purpose of massive sport,
\nhealthy growth of young people and in order to spend time effectively.”Neftchi Sports
\nClub\u201d has continued its tradition this year, among workers of oil, gas and
\nchemical industry enterprises and their family members, held a sports-tourism
\ncompetition Father, Mother and me” on June 1 – International Children’s
\nDay. 11 teams from “Azerkimya” Production Association, Oil Pipeline
\nDepartment, Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant, 28 May OGPD and Gas Export
\nDepartment competed in the forest zone in the Nabran settlement of Khachmaz
\nregion of Azerbaijan on June 8-10.The main purpose
\nof the tournament was to develop the sports-tourism competition\u201d Mother, Father
\nand me” among the oil industry workers, to encourage workers to adapt to
\nthe natural environment, to promote healthy lifestyles among them, to explore
\nand apply new forms of tourism competitions.According to the
\nrules of the competition, the composition of the team consisted of 4 persons (1
\nperson, 1 female, 1 child (boy or girl) and one representative). Competitions
\namong boys and girls were held separately. Children over the age of 14 were not
\nallowed to attend. Only family members could include to the team composition.
\nEach organization had the right to be represented by 4 teams in competitions.First, Natalya
\nAliyeva, the head referee of the competition, informed participants about the
\nrace. The race was organized in the following form: The family team first
\ndisassembles the tent set up at the start point. Then, they fled somewhere and
\ntook special bags ahead, and each participant went into the sack to the saddle.
\nIn such a case, the competitors, who competed at a certain distance, skipped
\nthe backs off at a certain point and retreated forward. Then, the participants
\npass and threw the balls into the rim on the tree. The family ran to a certain
\npoint with a concrete cobweb, then crossed the wooden rope and slid his hands
\nand feet and ran to the next obstacle. At this time, the team moves on a

\nthat lasted several hours between family teams, with their diversity and
\nrichness of the route, were summarized. The Huseynovs (Oil Pipeline
\nAdministration) among the boys won the title of the winner. The Zeynalovs (Azerkimya Production
\nAssociation) took the 2nd place and Zohrabovs took the third place. Among the
\ngirls, the Kerimovs (“Azerkimya” PU) became champion. The 2nd and 3rd
\nplaces were taken by the family of Rzayev, representing the Heydar Aliyev Oil
\nRefinery Plant.Family races ended
\nand the next day there was a fun game “Cheerful Starts”. Replacing
\none of the different exciting games has led to excessive joy in children. It
\nwas a pleasure to observe the enthusiastic participation of children in the
\nhigh level competition and their joy. In addition, intellectual competitions
\nwere held among the children on poetry, dancing and singing, as well as on the
\nhistory and geography of our country, in which they also took an interest and
\nenthusiasm in these competitions.At the final award
\nceremony, Mr. Akif Mammadov, Physical Training Manager of Neftchi Sports Club
\ncongratulated the children on behalf of Mr. Sadig Sadigov, the head of
\nmanagement of the club. He thanked all
\nthe participants for his activity in the race, wished them good health, and
\ncongratulated the winners.The club’s
\ndiplomas and gifts were presented to the teams that were in the award ceremony.
\nThen, Fidan Hasanova, Aisha Rzayeva, Murad Huseynov, Latifa Aghayeva, Haji
\nZohrababli, Sema Rzayeva, Adil Zeynalzada, Fatima Samadova, Gulzar Guliyeva and
\nHuseyn Zohrabbeyli were rewarded with ten competitions and competitions among
\nchildren. In addition, Neftchi Sports Club continued its tradition and
\nestablished awards for the nominations for “the smallest tourist”,
\n“the most active tourist” and “the oldest tourist”. Adil
\nZeynalzada (Azerkimya PU), Zulfiya Amirbayova (Oil Pipeline Administration) and
\nFakhriya Khanjanova (Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant) were awarded the title
\nof winner in these nominations.At the end, all children
\nparticipating in the competition were presented by holiday gifts.Thus, another
