\nSports Club\u201d reorganized a mini-football tournament among the oil, gas and
\nchemical industry workers. 14 teams were struggling in the tournament dedicated
\nto the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic: A Group
\n\u2013”Surakhani Oil\u201d, “Neftgastikinti\u201d Trust,Information Technology and
\nCommunications Department,Geophysics and Geology Department; B Group –
\n“Bahar Energy\u201d Operating Company,Transportation Department, Ecology
\nDepartment, Complex Drilling Trust; C Group Gas Export Department, Heydar
\nAliyev Oil Refinery Plant, Security Department; D Group “Azneft”
\nProduction Association, “SOCAR Petroleum” Closed Joint-Stock Company
\nand Gas Processing Plant.The
\nmain purpose of the competition were health protection of oil, gas and chemical
\nindustry workers, organization of their leisure time, as well as, assistance to
\nlarge-scale spread of mini-football and grand celebration of the 100th
\nanniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic.In
\nthe tournament held at the Baku Olympic Stadium, SOCAR Petroleum and Azneft
\nteams qualified for the final. In a decisive match, which was a tense struggle,
\nthe sides demonstrated almost equal performance. The main timing of the match
\nwas the draw as the score 2: 2. In the last ten minutes of the match, SOCAR
\nPetroleum was able to take advantage of the lead and eventually scored a goal –
\n3: 2. Thus, the team of SOCAR Petroleum won the title of the mini-football
\ntournament, defeating his opponent 3: 2. Azneft took the 2nd place and
\nSurakhani Oil team took the third place.In
\naddition,”Neftchi Sports Club\u201d had also founded prizes on “the best
\nplayer”, “the most productive player” and “the best
\ngoalkeeper” nominations. In accordance with winners of the nominations
\nwereUzeyir Farzaliyev (Surakhani Oyl), Vusal Mammadov (“SOCAR
\nPetroleum”) and Mehman Bakhshaliyev (“Azneft” PU).In
\nthe award ceremony, organized at the end of the tournament, “Neftchi\u201d
\nSports Club\u2019s manager of mass physical culture Akif Mammadov made a speech and
\ncongratulated the participants of the competition on behalf of head of club
\nadministration Mr.Sadig Sadigov, On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of
\nthe Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. Speaker thanked them for their activeness
\nin the tournament and wished participants success in their future endeavors.
\nThen, he congratulated the winning teams with reference to victory.”Neftchi\u201d
\nSports Club awarded top three teams with trophies, diplomas and valuable gifts.
