Nearly 500 athletes have competed in the tournament held among cadets<br \/>\n(2000-2002), juniors (1998-1999) and seniors.The Neftchi<br \/>\nSports Club&#8217;s sambo wrestlers have demonstrated great persistence and have won<br \/>\n36 medals (12 gold, 9 silver and 15 bronze).Nurlan Ismayilov<br \/>\n(48 kg), Mehman Mehdizade (52 kg), Kamran Gasimov (65 kg) and Ramil Abbasov (81<br \/>\nkg) have climbed to the highest step of the podium among cadets. Nurlan<br \/>\nIsmayilov (48 kg), Eyvaz Bakhshiev (57 kg), Bahadur Asgarov (68 kg), Ali<br \/>\nNazarli (82 kg) and Sanan Huseynov (90 kg) won the title of champion of the<br \/>\ncountry among juniors.
