In the<br \/>\ntournament more than 120 athletes from 32 countries competed and our national<br \/>\nteam was represented by 11 taekwondo-fighters.The<br \/>\nnational team completed the continental championship successfully. The<br \/>\nparalimpians claimed 9 medals (2 gold, 3 silver, 4 bronze) and 7 of them belong<br \/>\nto the athletes of &#8220;Neftchi Sports Club\u201d. Nijat Muslimov (75 kg) and Alexander<br \/>\nPolishuk (+75 kg) won all matches and became the European champions. Shahmir<br \/>\nIbadov (61 kg) and Royala Fataliyeva (58 kg) lost only in the final and owned<br \/>\nsilver medals.
