Our athlete Zaur Kotsayev (100 kg) joined<br \/>\nthe competition from the quarter-final and won a gold medal. Kotsayev won the<br \/>\nnative-born athlete Ganbatyn Boldbaatar and qualified for the semi-final. In<br \/>\nthe semi-final he won the Mongolian athlete Ambaselmaa Bayarsaikhan.In the final,<br \/>\nKotsayev\u2019s opponent was local tatami master Ishdorj Dashdulam.
