The Republic Badminton
\nChampionship was finished, held in the gym of the secondary school No. 12 in
\nBaku. In the competition young athletes demonstrated their abilities, born in 1999-2001,
\n2002-2003, 2004-2005, and 2006.The badminton players of
\n“Neftchi Sports Club\u201d won 15 medals at the national championship ( 8 gold, 3
\nsilver, 4 bronze). The representative Turkan Mahmudova became champion in the
\ndouble races among born in 2006 and younger athletes. Narmin Sharifova
\n(2004-2005) won gold medal in the double races and won a bronze in the
\nmixed-double races. Ulvi Ahmadov (2002-2003) became the first in the personal
\nand double races and the third in the mixed-double races. Vagif Ismayilov was
\nawarded silver medals in both of personal and double races. Adam Aliyev became
\n3rd in the personal races, 1st in the double races and 2nd in the mixed-double
\nraces. Aykhan Aliyev owned a bronze medal in the double races. And Sabuhi
