The Pan American Open Judo Championship has been ended held in
\nArgentina’s capital Buenos Aires. 288 judokas from 60 countries (172 men, 116 women)
\nhas participated in the race and our team has been represented by 7 athletes
\nand has completed the championship with 2 medals (a gold, a bronze).The judoka of “Neftchi\u201d Sports Club Shahin Gahramanov (90 kg) has won
\nthe bronze medal for our country. At this stage, he has won the Australian Diego Baretto and the local athlete
\nMariano Bertolotti and has reached to the quarter-final. At this stage, has
\nlost to the Russian Kiril Denisov and has joined the consolatory matches.
\nShahin has won over the Mexican athlete Isao Cardenas firstly and then he has
\ncome face to face with his teammate Tural Safguliyev. Our judoka has become
\nwinner of this match and he has taken the bronze medal of The Pan
\nAmerican Open Judo Championship.Other judokas of the club Abdulhag Rasullu (81 kg) and Tural Safguliyev
