\nthis reason, the club brings them together regularly and organizes competitions

\nClub, for this once, brought together oil workers in the mini-football
\ntournament, dedicated to December 31 \u2013 Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis. It
\nwas the last tournament of the year.The main purpose of
\nthe competition were health protection of oil, gas and chemical industry
\nworkers, organization of their leisure time, as well as, assistance to
\nlarge-scale spread of mini-football and grand celebration of Solidarity Day of
\nWorld Azerbaijanis.The tournament was
\nheld in the Olympic Training-Sport Complex named after Tofig Ismayilov, in
\nSurakhani settlement. In the race, which lasted from 14 December to 18, 14
\nteams were struggling in four groups: “A” group – “Surakhani
\nOil” Operation Company, “Gas Export” Department, “Oil and
\ngas construction” Trust, OGPD named after H.Z. Tagiyev; “B\u201d group – Information
\nTechnology and Communications Department, “Oil and gas research
\nproject” Institute, Gas Storages
\nExploitation Division Department, Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery; “C\u201d
\ngroup – Transportation Department, “Absheron Oil” OGPD, “Siyazan-Oil\u201d
\nOGPD; “D\u201d group – Ecology Department, Experimental Production Enterprise Repair
\nand Rental of Diving Facilities and Maintenance and Supply Department.As a rule, the teams, which occupying first two places in each subgroup,
\nwould gained qualify for the final stage. From “A\u201d group – “Surakhani Oil”, “Gas Export”
\nDepartment; from “B\u201d Group – Information Technology and Communications
\nDepartment and Heydar Aliyev
\nBaku Oil Refinery; from “C\u201d group – Transportation Department and “Siyazan-Oil\u201d
\nOGPD; from “D\u201d group – Ecology Department and Maintenance and Supply Department
\nsucceeded to it. Among the mentioned enterprises, teams of “Gas
\nExport” Department, “Surakhani Oil”, Transportation Department and Ecology Department promoted
\nto the semifinal. At this stage, more powerful teams of “Surakhani
\nOil” and “Gas Export\u201d Department won and gained license to the final. In
\nthe fight for third place “Transport\u201d and “Ecology\u201d teams came face to face. On
\nmain time of the game the score was 2:2 and that\u2019s why, 11 meter penalty
\nstrikes were applied. Consequently, “Ecology\u201d won with the score 5:4. And in
\nthe decisive final match, “Gas Export\u201d and “Surakhani Oil” teams
\nfaced. Both teams fought with determination to the end. But “Surakhani Oil\u201d demonstrated
\na far superior game from its opponent, team\u2019s players played with more accurate
\ntransfers and all these yielded results, eventually. So that, this team completed
\nthe final race with the score 1:0 in front.So, team of “Surakhani
\nOil” Operation Company won the winner title of the mini-football
\ntournament. “Gas Export” Department was the 2ndplace and
\nEcology Department was the 3rdplace.In addition, “Neftchi\u201d Sports Club had also founded prizes on “the best
\nplayer”, “the most productive player” and “the best
\ngoalkeeper” nominations. In accordance with winners of the nominations
\nwere Khanoghlan Hasanov (“Surakhani
\nOil”), Parviz Aliyev (“Gas Export\u201d Department) and Sardar Ayyubov (Ecology
\nDepartment).In the award
\nceremony, organized at the end of the tournament, “Neftchi\u201d Sports Club\u2019s
\nmanager of mass physical culture Akif Mammadov made a speech and congratulated
\nthe participants of the race on behalf of head of club administration Sadig
\nSadigov, with reference to Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis and New Year.
\nSpeaker thanked them for their activeness in the tournament and wished participants
\nsuccess in their future endeavors. Then, he congratulated the winning teams
