The open championship
\nof “Shaolin-Sanda” Sports Club has been held among young, teenagers
\nand men, on the kind of sport “Shaolin\u201d martial art. In the competition,
\norganized in the sports hall of school no. 111, along with the club’s athletes,
\n150 athletes have demonstrated ability in the composition of 25 teams from capital
\nand different regions of country.The main purpose of
\nthe competition was achieving propaganda, development and popularization of the
\nkind of sport “Shaolin\u201d martial art, increasing and improving the skills of the
\nathletes in this kind, as well as, the involvement of the most powerful
\nathletes to the national team.”Neftchi\u201d Sports
\nClub\u2019s representatives have also competed successfully at the championship.
\nRafat Asadov\u2019s pupils have been able to get up to the podium 12 times. Among
\nteenagers Nihad Guliyev (30 kg), Ziya Mammadov (34 kg), Nihad Zeynalov (60 kg) and
\nPolad Mammadov (65 kg) have become the second place and Ramal Mammadli (47 kg)
\nhas become the third place. In the race of young athletes Rahib \u0130brahimov (35
\nkg), Miryaqub Ahadov (45 kg), Ismail Zeynalov (48 kg), Ali Mammadov (53 kg) and
\nAlim Kazimov (65 kg) have won the gold medals of the competition. At the
\ntournament organized among men, Anar Karimov (75 kg) has not recognized
\nopponent and has risen to the highest step of the podium. And our other
\nrepresentative Orkhan Mammadli (80 kg) has been awarded the silver medal of the
