In Houston city of US
\nworld championship of weightlifting has been held .Neftchi Sport Club’s
\nathlete, Boyanka Kostova (58 kg) showed a great determination in the
\ncompetition and owned the title of world champion. Our athlete beside being
\nworld champion also signed a new world record. As, in snatch her first attempt
\nwas wasted, but in her second attempt she repeated her 109 kg European record
\nof herself. Then, she managed the 112 Kg weight. In her 3rd attempt with
\nhandling the weight, Boyanka set a new world record. Until this time, Chinese
\nYung Ing had the best record . Our athlete renewed her opponent’s record 1 kg.
\nShe has set the European record as well by lifting 112 kg.Boyanka Kostova also
\nwas successful in clean and jerk lifting. First she handled 136 kg renewing
\nrecord . Because of total 248 kg repeating her European record. Then Kostova
\nrequested 140 kg. But after being unsuccessful in her second attempt, our
\nweightlifter was successful. Which this resulted with new record. She renewed the
\nworld record of Yang Ing with 1 more kg. Meanwhile, this result renewed both
\nclean and jerk and in total European record.Thus, Boyanka Kostova
\nwith total result of 252 kg (112 kg + 140 kg) signed as first in Azerbaijan’s
\nweightlifting history. Among female athletes , Boyanka Kostova by winning world
\nchampion title, also has 6 records – 2 world and 4 European record to her name.Note that, 22 years
