One of these events is<br \/>\nSpartakiade held each year in September, on the eve of the professional holiday<br \/>\nof oil workers with the aim of Popularization of sport, healthy growth of young<br \/>\npeople, and the organization of leisure time of the oil workers.This year 19thcompetitions of oil, gas and chemistry workers are being held. 31 teams of company<br \/>\nare taking part in the event. In this prestigious competition, participants<br \/>\nwill compete in 14 kinds of sports (mini-football, athletics, swimming,<br \/>\nvolleyball, streetball, stonelifting, chess, checker, backgammon, table tennis,<br \/>\ndarts, rope pulling, shooting and armwrestling). Competitions will be held in<br \/>\nthe Training-Sports Complex named after Tofig Ismailov, Surakhani settlement, in the kind of swimming competitions will be held &#8220;Start\u201d<br \/>\nSport Complex (near &#8220;Neftchilar\u201d Metro station) and in the kind of athletics<br \/>\ncompetitions will be held in Ismet Gayibov Sports Training Base, Bakhikhanov<br \/>\nsettlement.
