Today, with the support of SOCAR and organized by the \u201cNeft\u00e7i\u201d Sports Club, the draw ceremony of the SOCAR-2024 mini-football tournament, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the \u201cContract of the Century,\u201d which will take place among the employees of oil, gas, and chemical industry enterprises, was held. The event, held at the headquarters of the \u201cNeft\u00e7i\u201d Sports Club, began with the club\u2019s general manager for sports and health matters, Elmar Babanl\u0131, conveying the greetings of the club\u2019s leadership to the participants and wishing them success in the upcoming competitions. He then provided detailed information to the participants about the rules of the tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following this, the sections of the tournament\u2019s regulations were discussed with the active participation of the sports instructors of the enterprises, and their suggestions and opinions were listened to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Finally, the tournament draw was conducted. According to the results of the draw, 26 teams will compete in 6 groups, with 4 teams in each group and 5 teams in two groups. The teams that secure the first and second places in the group stage will qualify for the final stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The SOCAR-2024 mini-football tournament, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the \u201cContract of the Century,\u201d will continue from August 17 to September 21. The matches will be held on the covered fields of the Baku Olympic Stadium every Saturday and Sunday.
