With the support of SOCAR and organized by the “Neft\u00e7i” Sports Club, the final match and closing ceremony of the SOCAR-2024 mini-football tournament, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the “Contract of the Century,” were held among employees of the oil, gas, and chemical industries. Third Place Match<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, held at the Baku Tennis Academy, began with a match for third place between the teams of SOCAR Downstream Management and “Azneft” PU. The “Azneft” PU team defeated its opponent with a score of 4:0, securing third place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

National Anthem and Minute of SilenceFollowing this, the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played, and a minute of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of the country. A video dedicated to the tournament was then shown. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Match<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, the final match took place, with the “Balakhani” Operating Company and the “Azerigas” Production Union teams competing. In a thrilling and intense game, the “Balakhani” Operating Company team emerged victorious with a 4:2 win, becoming the tournament champions. The “Azerigas” Production Union team secured second place. Award Ceremony<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end, an award ceremony was held. The teams that placed first, second, and third were presented with cups, diplomas, and medals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, winners in various nominations were awarded. SOCAR Downstream Management’s player \u018f\u015fr\u0259fa\u011fa \u018f\u015fr\u0259fzad\u0259, who scored fifteen goals, was named the “Top Scorer,” while To\u011frul Hac\u0131yev from the “Balakhani” Operating Company team won the “Best Goalkeeper” title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The referees of the final match, Mahir M\u0259mm\u0259dov and K\u0259nan M\u0259likov, were also recognized. The awards were presented by Hafiz Zeynalov, Chairman of the “Neft\u00e7i” Sports Club Board, and Hiday\u0259t Heyd\u0259rov, an Olympic judo champion and club alumnus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
