A 3×3 basketball tournament dedicated to the \u201cYear of Constitution and Sovereignty\u201d was held among employees of oil, gas and chemical industry enterprises, jointly organized by the \u201cNeftchi\u201d Sports Club and the Social Development Department. 15 teams (60 participants (24 women, 36 men)) competed for the title of winner in the competition organized at the \u201cMashal\u201d Sports Complex.
The main purpose of the tournament was to determine the composition of the women’s and men’s teams that will represent SOCAR in the tournament organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports among employees of state institutions in this sport.
The team of \u201cSOCAR Downstream Management\u201d LLC won the women’s competition. The Social Development Department took second place, and the teams of the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery and \u201cAzerikimya\u201d Production Union took third place.
In the men’s competition, the team of \u201cSOCAR Petroleum\u201d CJSC demonstrated a more superior game and rose to the leadership. The Security Department took second place, and the teams of the \u201cNeftgaztikinti\u201d Trust and the \u201cNeftgazelmitedqiqatlayihe\u201d Institute took third place on the podium.
