On January 14, the \u201cZafar\u201d-2025 International Sports Award presentation ceremony, established by \u201cSportsman\u201d magazine, was held at the \u201cFairmont\u201d hotel in Baku. The event was attended by prize-winners of the Olympic, world and European championships, representatives of federations and clubs, as well as other representatives of the sports community. The names of the winners in various nominations based on the results of the past year were announced at the ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNeftchi\u201d Sports Club was awarded the title of \u201cSports Club of the Year\u201d. The award was presented to Faraj Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club, acting executive director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It should be noted that the \u201cZafar\u201d International Sports Award has been presented for 18 consecutive years. \u201cSportsman\u201d magazine, along with promoting sports and the Olympic Movement, established this award in 2007 with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan.
