“Neftchi” Sports Club’s para-taekwondo player Sabir Zeynalov (58 kg) won a silver medal at the Open Challenge Tournament held in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. Our athlete, who joined the competition from the round of 16, reached the final by defeating his Kazakh, Uzbek and Thai opponents in a row. Sabir Zeynalov, who lost to his opponent from Chinese Taipei in the decisive match, won a silver medal.
It should be noted that the tournament earned rating points for the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Paralympic Games.
