The European Cadets Boxing Championship held in Novi Pazar, Serbia, has finsihed.
On the last day of the competition, another boxer of the “Neftchi” Sports Club was among the medalists. Safdar Mammadzade (+80 kg) fought against Russian Bogdan Smolkin in the final. The match ended with the opponent’s victory with a score of 3:2 (26:30, 28:28, 28:28, 26:30, 29:27), so our boxer finished the competition with a silver medal.
It should be noted that earlier, another member of our club, Aylin Nazarova (46 kg), won the bronze medal of the continental championship.
