The Azerbaijan championship in bullet and stand shooting, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Shooting Federation, has come to an end. More than 100 athletes competed in various categories in the competition held at the Baku Shooting Center and lasting 5 days.
Oleg Kerjankin, a representative of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, won the title of winner in the 10-meter air pistol shooting competition with 565 points. In the mixed team competition in the same discipline, the pair of Leyli Aliyeva and Elvin Astanov also won a gold medal. Vladislav Kalmykov was awarded a silver medal. He took third place at a distance of 50 meters. Our other shooter Imran Garayev won a silver medal in the rapid fire from a small-caliber pistol at a distance of 25 meters.
