A republican tournament in throwing events dedicated to the memory of Honored Coach Hajibaba Zeynalov was held at the Surakhani Throwing Base, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation.
Ismayil Aliyev, an athlete from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, won a gold medal in the shot put competition with a result of 17.24 meters. Margarita Gornistayeva came in second place in the javelin throw with a result of 18.94 meters.
