
The World Wrestling Championship, held in the capital of Croatia, Zagreb, continues.
Ulvi Ganizada (72 kg), one of the Greco-Roman wrestlers of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, won all the matches and became the world champion. Murad Ahmadiyev (97 kg) won the bronze medal.
It should be noted that our other wrestler Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg) reached the final and will compete for the gold medal tomorrow.
It should be noted that earlier, one of our Greco-Roman wrestlers Eldaniz Azizli (55 kg) won the bronze medal at the World Championship. One of our freestyle wrestlers Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) won the silver medal of the prestigious competition. Nureddin Novruzov (61 kg) and Arseniy Dzhioyev (86 kg) won bronze medals.
