Zarifa Huseynova, the fencer from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, has earned a place among the medalists at the III CIS Games. Competing in the sabre fencing category at the Ganja Sports Complex, our athlete secured the silver medal at the tournament.

It is worth mentioning that previously, our sambists won 3 medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze) at the CIS Games, our wrestlers earned 7 medals (1 gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze), and our boxers claimed 4 bronze medals. Another of our boxers, Safdar Mammadzada, will compete in the final today.
