Safdar Mammadzada (+80 kg), a boxer from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, competed in the final of the III CIS Games today. The tournament, held at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex, saw our athlete defeating his opponent and securing the gold medal.

It is worth mentioning that previously, our sambists won 3 medals (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze) at the CIS Games, our wrestlers earned 7 medals (1 gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze), our fencers secured 1 silver medal, and our boxers claimed 4 bronze medals.

Our club is represented by 20 athletes across 7 sports in the tournament.
