The opening ceremony of the games of Group C of the Nations League for Amputee Football hosted by Baku was held today at the “ASCO Arena”.

Following the event, the tournament started. The opening match saw the Azerbaijani and Belgian teams face off. The match, organized in the arena, ended with a 3:0 victory for the Azerbaijani national team, all of whose members are representatives of the “Neftchi” Sports Club. Our team’s goals were scored by Farhad Eyyubov (2 goals) and Sanan Hajiyev.

It should be noted that 5 teams – the national teams of Azerbaijan, Belgium, Israel, Ukraine and the Netherlands – will compete in the three-day tournament.It should be noted that holding this tournament in Azerbaijan is important in terms of bringing the mine problem to the world in our country and bringing mine victims together on international sports platforms.
