The Azerbaijani team of amputee footballers finished Group C of the Nations League held in Baku with a bronze medal.
Our team played its last match in the group against Ukraine. The match, which took place at the “ASCO Arena”, ended with a 3:1 victory for the opponent.
Our national team previously defeated Belgium 3:0 and the Netherlands 1:0, and drew 0-0 with Israel.
Thus, Ukraine, with 9 points, finished the competition in first place. Israel took second place with 8 points, and Azerbaijan took third place with 7 points.
It should be noted that all members of the Azerbaijani team were representatives of the amputee football team of the “Neftchi” Sports Club.
