The U-23 World Wrestling Championship continues in Novi Sad, Serbia. The competition in women’s wrestling concluded on the sixth day of the competition.
Gunay Gurbanova, a representative of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, won the prize (59 kg) today. Our female wrestler defeated Italian Aurora Russo by “touchdown” and became the third in the world.
It should be noted that our freestyle wrestler Kenan Heybatov (70 kg) will compete in the final match tomorrow.

Elmir Aliyev (55 kg) and Ziya Babashov (60 kg) were awarded gold medals, and Ruslan Nurullayev (72 kg) was awarded bronze medals.
