The judokas of the “Neftchi” Sports Club fought confidently and won 4 medals at the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games held in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
One of our athletes, Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg), finished all his matches with victories and rose to the highest step of the podium. It should be noted that our athlete, who won the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games, also won the Islamiada held in Baku in 2017.
Among our other judokas, Konul Aliyeva (48 kg) won silver, and Aydan Valiyeva (52 kg) and Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg) won bronze medals.
