The Seniors Baku City Championship in judo held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex has come to an end. 161 judokas from 29 clubs and sports societies competed for medals in the two-day competition.
Representatives of the “Neftchi” Sports Club performed successfully in the championship. Our athletes Bahadir Feyzullayev (60 kg) and Asmar Aliyeva (78 kg) outdid all their rivals and won gold medals. Aynur Mirzagayeva (70 kg), Jala Mammadova (78 kg) and Ibrahim Agakishiyev (90 kg) took second place, and Maharram Mirzayev (60 kg) and Ayan Aliyeva (63 kg) took third place.
It should be noted that our club took first place in the overall team score by the number of medals (2 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze).
