The Juniors and Seniors Azerbaijan Taekwondo championship were held. A total of 436 taekwondo players from 72 clubs and sports societies representing the capital and regions participated in the tournament held at the “Khilasedici” Sports and Health Center in the Hovsan settlement of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Saleh Heydarov (63 kg), a graduate of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, won a bronze medal in the competition among juniors. Mehdi Budagli (54 kg) repeated the same success in the seniors competition.
