The Baku international tournament (indoor) dedicated to the memory of Honored Coach Alexander Antipov was held in Baku with the organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation, the “Atletika” Sports Club and the support of World Athletics. In the memorial organized at the Baku Athletics Center, along with local athletes, about 60 athletes representing Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan competed.
Lamiya Valiyeva, a graduate of the “Neftchi” Sports Club, reached the finish line in the women’s 60-meter race faster than anyone else and won a gold medal.
In the men’s competition, Raul Nasibov finished the international tournament in third place in the triple jump competition.
