The U-23 European Wrestling Championship, held in Zrenjanin, Serbia, continues.
Two more freestyle wrestlers from the “Neftchi” Sports Club were awarded prizes at the prestigious competition. Our wrestlers Jeyhun Allahverdiyev (61 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) fought confidently and advanced to the finals. Our athletes, who lost in the decisive match, finished the continental championship with a silver medal.
Recall that earlier, one of our club’s freestyle wrestlers, Zafar Aliyev (97 kg), won a bronze medal.
Note that the European Championship will end on March 15.
