The “Champions” Tournament held in Antalya, Turkey, among the U-20 age group has come to an end. In the competition, 800 athletes from 20 countries demonstrated their skills.

Among the freestyle wrestlers of “Neftchi” Sports Club, Haji Karimov, competing in the 70 kg weight category, defeated all his opponents and won the gold medal of the tournament. Bashir Verdiyev (65 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) took second place, while Muhammad Ismayilov (57 kg) and Nurlan Agazade (74 kg) secured third place.

Among our women wrestlers, Esra Mammadli (53 kg) took third place on the podium.
