The Baku Championship for cadets and juniors was held at the fencing halls of the Sports Palace of Azerbaijan Technical University. During the two-day competition, the winners were determined in the sabre and épée events.

Two fencers representing “Neftchi” Sports Club claimed medals in the épée category. In the junior competition, Mirkhatayi Mammadov won the silver medal. Meanwhile, in the girls’ event, Nazrin Mehdiyeva secured third place and earned a bronze medal.
