The opening day of competition at the Sumqayıt Stop of the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series has concluded.

Neftchi SOCAR secured a 21–18 victory over China’s Yanjing Club in its first group-stage game and followed it up with a 15–13 win against the Chinese national team in its second match.

Having finished at the top of its group, Neftchi SOCAR qualified for the quarterfinals.
