Saidjamshid Jafarov, representing Neftchi Sports Club, has won the gold medal at the World Cup held in Guiyang, China.

Competing in the 75 kg weight category, Jafarov faced Bulgaria’s Rami Kiwan in the final. Demonstrating great determination and skill, our boxer secured a dominant 5–0 victory (30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 30:27, 29:28) to claim the prestigious title and the tournament’s gold medal.

Another representative of Neftchi Sports Club, Murad Allahverdiyev (80 kg), finished in third place and was awarded a bronze medal.

It should be noted that the ranking tournament brought together 300 athletes from 40 countries competing for medals.
