The Ulaanbaatar Grand Slam got underway today in the capital of Mongolia.

Representing Azerbaijan’s national team, NEFTCHI Sports Club judoka Balabay Aghayev delivered an impressive performance to claim the gold medal at the prestigious tournament.

Competing in the 60 kg weight category, Aghayev defeated Japanese world champion Ryuju Nagayama in the final to secure the top spot on the podium.
