The National Chess Olympiad for players under the age of 16 has concluded at the Qusar Olympic Sports Complex.

The week-long tournament featured competitions in two age groups. The 11-round event saw chess players aged 11–16 compete in Group A, while Group B was open to players aged 10 and under.

Representing Neftçi Sports Club, Mehin Aliyeva delivered a strong performance to become the National Chess Olympiad champion among girls aged 10 and under.
