The U-20 World Wrestling Championships continue in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.

The female wrestlers representing “Neftchi” Sports Club performed successfully at the competition, winning two silver medals. Gunay Gurbanova (57 kg) lost to Japan’s Konami Ono in the final (6:16), while Ruzanna Mammadova (59 kg) was defeated by another Japanese representative, Sae Noguchi, in the decisive bout (1:3), with both athletes taking second place on the podium.

It should be noted that earlier, “Neftchi” Sports Club’s Greco-Roman wrestlers Ayxan Javadov (60 kg) won gold, while Elmin Aliyev (82 kg) claimed the bronze medal.
