The national wrestling tournament dedicated to the memory of Professor Khanlar Gurbanov has come to an end. Nearly 200 athletes from various regions of the country competed for medals at the event, which was held at the Baku Sports Palace.

Neftçi Sports Club wrestlers won medals of all three colors at the tournament. Tuncay Vazirzade (90 kg) defeated all his opponents to claim the top step of the podium. Abdulla Sharif (+90 kg), who was defeated only in the final, won the silver medal, while Khalil Murzayev (90 kg) took bronze.
