Competitions in wrestling, belt wrestling and Khapsagay have been held as part of the VI World Nomad Games in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

Ravan Musayev, a representative of “Neftçi” Sports Club, delivered a confident performance in the absolute weight category in the wrestling competition and won a silver medal. It should be recalled that another athlete from the club, Ariz Huseynov (80 kg), previously won a bronze medal in the Alysh wrestling competition.

It should be noted that 10 Azerbaijani athletes are representing the country in nine sports (Alysh, Kyrgyz kuresh, Kushtingi, wrestling, Pahlavan wrestling, Kazakh kuresi, Guresh, mas-wrestling and Mangala) at the VI World Nomad Games. Six of them are representatives of “Neftçi” Sports Club.
