The U-17 European Wrestling Championship continues in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. Today, the Greco-Roman wrestling competitions were concluded.
Another Greco-Roman wrestler from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, Abdurrahman Huseynli (45 kg), who is represented by the Azerbaijani national team, fought with determination and reached the final. At this stage, he defeated Georgian Saba Abashidze with complete superiority (9:0) and became the European champion.
It should be noted that previously, Rihad Ibrahimli (110 kg), one of the Greco-Roman wrestlers of our club, won gold, and Gurban Majnunov (48 kg) won bronze.
