An athletics tournament organized by the “Neftchi” Sports Club concluded. The event, dedicated to the “Constitution and Sovereignty Year,” was jointly organized by the “Neftchi” Sports Club and the SOCAR Social Development Department, bringing together employees from the oil, gas, and chemical industries. The competition featured 38 participants (15 women and 23 men) from 8 teams.

In the women’s 60-meter sprint, Khalida Jafarova from SOCAR Downstream Management claimed victory. Esmira Nasraddinova from “Neftgaztikinti” Construction finished second, while Zarifa Valiyeva from “SOCAR Polymer” Plant secured third place.

In the 400-meter race, Liliya Khametova from “Neftqaztikinti” Construction crossed the finish line first. Esmira Jafarova from “SOCAR Polymer” Plant and Leman Niyazli from “Azerkimya” Industrial Union took second and third places respectively.

In the long jump competition, Zarifa Mammadzada from “Azerkimya” Industrial Union led the field. Afet Gahramanova, also from “Azerkimya,” earned the silver, while Adila Khayirbayeva from “Neftqaztikinti” Construction won the bronze.

In the men’s 60-meter sprint, Rustam Rustamov from “SOCAR Polymer” Plant stood atop the podium. Azer Orudjov from “Azerkimya” Industrial Union finished second, and Aynal Zaur Natiq from the Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Plant took third.

In the 800-meter race, Tural Almardanov from “SOCAR Polymer” Plant clinched the gold medal. Emin Safarov from “SOCAR Polymer” Plant finished second, and Vugar Baloglanov from the Security Department placed third.

In the men’s long jump, Sadiq Ismayilov from “Neftqaztikinti” Construction took first place. Ilgar Hasanov from “Azerkimya” Industrial Union won silver, and Baxtiyar Nifteliyev from “SOCAR Polymer” Plant claimed the bronze.

In the relay race, the “SOCAR Polymer” team (Zarifa Valiyeva, Esmira Jafarova, Rustam Rustamov, Baxtiyar Nifteliyev) took the gold medal. The “Neftqaztikinti” Construction team (Liliya Khametova, Esmira Nasreddinova, Sadiq Ismayilov, Araz Huseynov) finished second, and the “Azerkimya” Industrial Union team (Leman Niyazli, Zarifa Mammadova, Azer Orudjov, Rauf Manafov) secured third place.

The winners and medalists were awarded diplomas, medals, and souvenirs by the “Neftçi” Sports Club.
