The VI Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, continue.

The Azerbaijani judo team won the VI Islamic Solidarity Games. Our team faced the Uzbekistan team in the final. The match ended with a 4:0 victory for the Azerbaijani national team.

It should be noted that the team also includes judokas from the “Neftchi” Sports Club: Hidayet Heydarov, Ruslan Pashayev, Eljan Hajiyev, Ushangi Kokauri and Aydan Valiyeva.

It should be noted that earlier in the individual competitions, our judokas Hidayet Heydarov (73 kg) won gold, Konul Aliyeva (48 kg) won silver, and Aydan Valiyeva (52 kg), Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg), Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg) and Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg) won bronze medals.
