Faraim Mustafayev (67 kg), a Greco-Roman wrestler from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, won a bronze medal at the U-20 World Championship held in Samokov, Bulgaria. In the match for third place, he defeated Japan’s Takaku Suzuki with a score of 5:4.

It is worth noting that earlier, our club’s freestyle wrestlers Nurlan Agazade (70 kg) and Yusif Dursunov (125 kg) also secured bronze medals. Female wrestlers Ruzanna Mammadova (62 kg) earned a silver medal, while Gunay Gurbanova (59 kg) won a bronze.
