The quarterfinals of the boxing competitions of the III CIS Games hosted by Azerbaijan have been concluded.
In the tournament organized at the Yevlakh Olympic Sports Complex, 5 boxers of the “Neftchi” Sports Club – Aylin Nazarova (46 kg), Aykhan Hasanov (50 kg), Raul Heydarli (57 kg), Ismayil Valiyev (80 kg) and Safter Mammadzade (+80 kg) will compete in the semifinals.
It should be noted that our sambo wrestlers have previously won 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal of the CIS Games.
It should be noted that our club is represented in the tournament with 20 athletes in 7 sports.
