Today marks International Children’s Day.
On June 1, 1950, at an international women’s conference organized by the United Nations General Assembly, it was decided to dedicate June 1 to the protection of children. Since then, this date has been observed as International Children’s Day.
As in many countries around the world, this day is also celebrated in Azerbaijan. Children are our future, and the future of the country lies in their hands.
Happy holiday, dear children!
