The wrestlers of “Neftchi” Sports Club concluded the U17 European Wrestling Championships, held in Samokov, Bulgaria, with a total of seven medals (one gold, two silver and four bronze).

Among our Greco-Roman wrestlers, Qurban Majnunov (55 kg) won a silver medal, while Huseyn Mustafazade (51 kg), Orkhan Habibli (65 kg) and Zohrab Safarov (92 kg) claimed bronze medals.

Among our freestyle wrestlers, Nihad Suleymanli (80 kg) became the European champion. Rashid Nazarov (65 kg) secured the silver medal, while Hakim Tagiyev (110 kg) finished in third place, earning a bronze medal.
