Athletes of the “Neftchi” Sports Club demonstrated their skills at the Baku city championship held at the AIA stadium and the AAF throwing base.
One of our athletes, Bulbul Babayev, took second place in the high jump with a result of 1.55 meters.
In the javelin competition, Irada Aliyeva (41.83 meters) and Orkhan Gasimov (52.28 meters) won gold medals, and Islam Gahramanzadeh (48.72 meters) won silver medals.
Ismayil Aliyev became winner in each of the shot put (16.58 meters), discus (47, 65 meters) and hammer (40, 76 meters) events.
