The capital championship in athletics (indoor) among athletes born in 2011–2012 was held at the Baku Athletics Center. The competition was jointly organized by the Baku City Youth and Sports Department and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation.

Kiril Podgorodeskiy, an athlete from the “Neftchi” Sports Club, won the high jump competition. Mammadsadiq Janbakhishli won silver medals in the 60-meter run and long jump competitions. Another athlete, Ibrahim Babayev, was awarded a bronze medal in the long jump. Our female athlete Emiliya Pashayeva took second place in the long jump competition organized among girls.
