The first world championship in karakucak wrestling was held in Kahramanmarash, Turkey. 107 athletes competed in various age categories.
Representatives of the “Neftchi” Sports Club won 3 medals in the tournament. One of our athletes, Hajali Gasimov (75 kg), was awarded a silver medal. Mahammad Abbaszadeh (85 kg) and Ravan Musayev (+90 kg) took third place.
