The Eurasian Grappling Championship was held at the “Sarhadchi” Sports Center. The strongest athletes of the region came together in the prestigious competition.
Representatives of the “Neftchi” Sports Club demonstrated great determination in the competition and won 8 medals (2 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze).
Our athletes Emin Ajalov (34 kg) and Ilham Hagverdiyev (100 kg) became the winners of the Eurasian Championship. Zaman Shahlamazov (34 kg), Umid Gahramanov (55 kg) and Halay Guliyev (84 kg) won silver medals. Our other athletes – Samad Najafov (32 kg), Davud Babayev (60 kg) and Ikram Sheydayev (70 kg) finished the championship in third place.
